A Day in the Life of Dan Bison

Dan is a little bison with big dreams.

Each morning, he helps Chloe sweep the pine needles from their front porch. Then he waddles down Chestnut Road to check on his mitten collection (he’s currently got 37 mismatched ones).

Dan’s favorite thing? Helping others feel strong, even when they’re small. In “The Knock in the Snow,” he curls up on Laila’s couch, shivering. But by the end, he’s the one comforting others with a warm snuggle and quiet strength.

He may not say much, but Dan teaches kids that gentleness is a kind of bravery.
